Join as we offer our time and labor to help the sister of fellow Rotarian Jim Wissmiller get her property cleaned up and cleared of overgrown vegetation. We will need folks to bring lawn equipment, trimmers, chainsaws, and other tools as we remove dead trees and trim existing trees and shrubs, mow, and anything else needed. If you can attend, be sure to bring a pair of work gloves and appropriate clothing for the work. Water and sports drinks will be provided. Join your fellow Rotarians as we help beautify our wonderful city by cleaning up along 337 between NB High School and River Rd. We will meet directly in front of the high school at 9:00 am to get geared up for work. It is recommended that you wear sturdy, close-toed shoes, jeans, and work gloves. We will have water, safety vests, bags, and trash grabbers. We will celebrate our hard work with a fish fry immediately after at the beautiful property of Jim Peck on the Guadalupe River! The more members who show up, the more we will get done and the greater the fellowship, so plan to attend! |

Oct. 08, 2025 1:00 p.m. - Oct. 11, 2025 6:30 p.m.
We have been asked to help pack meals with an organization called Feed My Starving Children. The event is from October 8-11 at St. Paul Lutheran and has many shifts. You can sign up for any available shift but we have decided to designate the 2-4 PM on Saturday Oct 11 for our Rotary Club if you want to be surrounded by your Rotary family! If those shifts do not work or are filled, please volunteer for any time you are available.
Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit organization and takes no government funding - so all the food components are purchased through generous donations (we are still short of our goal for packing over 272,000 meals). If people are led, donations are also accepted on our site. We are also teaming with the local SOS Food Bank to help our own community by asking volunteers to kindly donate non-perishable food items when they come to pack.
Spots are filling up quickly! Very quickly! If you want to help, please sign up at the following link. Look for the volunteer button. If you have questions, contact Ami Feller or event host, Todd Meyers at todd.meyers@outlook.com.
See you there!!!
