Jun. 15, 2024 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Join fellow Rotarians for this great service opportunity as we help Project MEND collect re-usable and repairable medical mobility equipment. There will be 2 shifts: 8:00am - 11:30am and 11:00am to 2:30pm. Details are below. EdenHill Communities has teamed up with PRoject Mend, a respected organization dedicated to refurbishing used, durable medical equipment (DME) for individuals in need. Thanks to a generous grant from the McKenna Foundation, Project Mend is expanding their services in Comal County. EdenHill will serve as a pivotal donation hub for the county, collecting DME from those who no longer need it. They are kicking off this initiative with a donation event on Saturday, June 15th, at EdenHill. This event will not only support a great cause, but also promises to be engaging, with food trucks providing coffee and food, and anticipated digital and live media coverage by KSAT. Here's where the Rotary Club can make a significant impact:
This event offers an excellent platform for Rotary to demonstrate its commitment to community service and to gain considerable local recognition. If you have any questions, call Tillie at 830-625-1327 or Steve Cornelius at 830--500-2355.
