DESCRIPTION:We have been asked to help pack meals with an organization call
ed Feed My Starving Children. The event is from November 4-7 at Sysco and
has many shifts. You can sign up for any available shift but we have decid
ed to designate the 6-8 PM on Wednesday Nov 4 for our Rotary Club if you w
ant to be surrounded by your Rotary family! If those shifts do not work or
are filled\, please volunteer for any time you are available. Minimum age
to help is 5 - a great opportunity to volunteer as a family!   Feed My S
tarving Children is a non-profit organization and takes no government fund
ing - so all the food components are purchased through generous donations
(we are still short of our goal for packing over 272\,000 meals).  If peo
ple are led\, donations are also accepted on our site.  We are also teami
ng with the local SOS Food Bank to help our own  community by asking volu
nteers to kindly donate non-perishable food items when they come to pack.
