The gifts and meal boxes will be distributed at the making Spirits Bright luncheon on Wedne sday\, December 21 during our regular meeting time. Members do not have t o be present at the lunch to participate in this program. The Club is ask ing that members either sponsor a family’s children and purchase their pr eselected need and want gifts or sponsor a Christmas meal box. There is a suggested minimum of $25 for each gift ($50 per child) and Christmas mea l boxes are $60 each. In the case of larger families\, Rotarians are allo wed to co-sponsor families to help alleviate the overall costs. And you o f course are allowed to sponsor both a family and a meal box if you want. Each of the families who have been invited to participate have been full y vetted by Family First and have met all requirements to qualify. Making Spirits Bright is an opportunity to bring joy to children who may otherw ise receive very little this holiday season and provide a full Christmas dinner to their family.
